The Special Assistant to the President is responsible for providing ongoing, direct support for the University President. Specific responsibilities include preparing Presidential materials for the Board of Regents and the Chancellor, coordinating state governmental relations, serving on President’s Cabinet and managing Cabinet meeting agendas, and serving on various internal and external councils and committees. The Chief Diversity Officer and Director of Equity and Access reports to the Special Assistant, and the Special Assistant also serves as a liaison to the Director of Athletics.
