Texas State University 2017-2023 University Plan Revisions
August 26, 2020
The revised mid-cycle review of the Texas State University 2017-2023 University Plan initiatives and key performance indicators was approved at the President’s Cabinet retreat in May and will formally launch on September 1, 2020. Over the past year, you had the opportunity to meet with colleagues in your units and divisions to have conversations about draft revised university initiatives and key performance indicators and provide feedback to me and the members of the President’s Cabinet. We have discussed all suggestions for change that we received and made additional revisions based on your feedback.
Our university community takes planning seriously and has put much thought into the review of the 2017-2023 University Plan revisions, and I appreciate all of the participation in this process. Many of you contributed important feedback and suggestions to the proposed revisions through the formal mid-cycle review of the planning process.
I invite you to look over the final approved revisions to the 2017-2023 university, division, and college plans, as well as an overview of the 2017-2023 planning priorities for the remainder of the planning cycle, which were developed within colleges and divisions. This fall, we will formally launch the revised 2017-2023 university, division, and college plans, which will remain in effect through 2023.
Thank you all for your continued participation in the planning process and for your valuable insights and contributions that help make Texas State a great university.
