About Our TXST Choreographer

The talented Megan Moss has been dancing for 35 years and choreographing for 25, developing dance programs in Utah, Oregon, California, and most recently, at Texas State University. With a deep love for the artistry and mind/body connection that dance provides, Moss is able to translate this passion in the classroom where she teaches technique courses, including showing students the joy in ballet, the creativity in modern, and the diversity of jazz. An esteemed contemporary dance choreographer, she’s also thoroughly trained in ballet and has developed a unique improvisation style that plays well with dynamics and musicality, allowing her to adapt to many different dance styles.
